It’s simple - in a single twenty-four period, the car I want to buy/trader for changes from:
(I miss my Grand Marquis dearly, and want a final year ‘Vic)
to a few hours later:
(I love Volvos, and I’ve never owned an SUV/crossover)
before the day is done it changes to:
(Test drove one and it felt like total bliss to me. Also never owned a coupe.)
Throw in the often-prevalent 2011-2014 Mustang convertible, second generation Volvo S80, Focus ST, and the occasional VW Jetta TDI, and you have a recipe for ‘I clearly don’t know what the hell I want, so I probably should just stick with what I have’.
Kind of unfortunate when cars are all you live and breathe.

No you should just buy the S80

I had a 2005 S80 T5. I’ve owned ten cars and it was by far my favorite, buttery smooth, ultra comfortable, powerful, still looked new at 10 years old (on the outside). The second generation ones look even more appealing. I traded it on the Sentra because I was feeling depressed and somehow felt a new car would make me feel better. It didn’t.

You should flip cars. Be in and out of a new to you car every few months.

I know your feeling!
Just the other day my dealer got in a 2013 Volvo C30 Polestar (133/250) and I was ready to go get it!
Then I realized I need to be kind of practical and found they had a 2013 XC70 AWD station wagon.
When I decided that it wouldn’t be fast enough. I saw that my Jeep dealer has this amazing brand new Ram 1500 Hemi short bed 2 door for like $8500 off!!!!
Then I saw they had a new Wrangler Black Bear Edition.
And the urge for a convertible is still in the back of my mind...
